Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Bonus based on performance, • Company car, • Dental insurance, • Employee discounts, • Health insurance, • Paid time off Tools & Equipment Requirements: Must possess and maintain a complete set of personal trade tools necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, including but not limited to hand tools, diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and basic power tools. Employee is responsible for maintaining personal tools in safe working condition. Specialty or large equipment required for specific projects will be provided by the Company as needed. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must hold a valid state drivers license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record. At least 1-3 years of related work experience required. Basic understanding of painting, carpentry, flooring, ceiling, low voltage electrical, door hardware, light plumbing, AV equipment required. And/or basic understanding of repair and maintenance of fitness, hydro-massage, and/or tanning equipment. Must be a self-starter with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions using critical thinking skills. Must have excellent customer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills are needed and knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is needed. Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Budgetary Responsibility: This position will be issued a corporate credit card and will be authorized to spend up to $250 to purchase machine/equipment parts and project supplies as needed without manager approval. All purchases over $250 must be approved by the Facilities Manager. This position is not authorized to approve transactions/purchases in CMMS. Work Environment: This job operates remotely at fitness club locations and may service corporate office locations. The noise level in the work environment may be loud when in the club. Will occasionally encounter hazardous chemicals and may work in confined or high places. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that a Team Player must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp. Prolonged periods of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling required. Required to climb and stand on ladders approximately 8 feet in height and work off lifts. Must frequently lift and move up to 60 pounds by themselves and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, nonexempt position. A nonexempt Team Player is one who is entitled to the minimum wage and/or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Standard work days and hours are Monday through Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or as assigned. This position may work outside of the established work schedule to include the weekends and/or overnights as needed to ensure maintenance needs are met. Work hours are subject to change at any time dependent on business needs. Travel: 100% travel is expected for this position. Must be willing to travel based on company needs to locations outside assigned regions as required. Overnight trips will be necessary when traveling outside of local area.
