The Hutchinson Metro Center, known as a “hospital without beds,” is where we offer multidisciplinary, patient-centered services that bring the healthcare of tomorrow to patients from the Bronx and beyond. It is uniquely located and easily accessible for patients coming from the northern suburbs, Connecticut, New Jersey, Long Island, Manhattan and Queens. The new facility also reflects the ongoing evolution of the delivery of healthcare, providing space for multidisciplinary approaches to care and integrating technology that will allow us to provide necessary treatments without the need for hospitalization. Candidates for the Clinical Faculty position should be Board-Certified in both Neurology and Headache medicine and have the ability to be a member of a large clinical practice focused on headache diagnosis and treatment. This position also requires an interest in supporting a dynamic research program that receives NIH, foundation and industry funding. We take a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating patients with head and facial pain. Our staff includes UCNS-certified headache neurologists, health psychologists and 2 fellows in our UCNS-accredited fellowship. About Us: Overview: The Dining Services Director at a Brightview community serves as a champion and coach to our team of dining associates, and an advocate to our residents with a goal of effectively managing the day to day dining services operation, but also by ensuring that our current and future residents are delivered exceptional service, delicious food, and interesting and exciting dining options. Responsibilities: In this role, you will build, develop and manage all of the community’s dietary associates, and will work to establish a communication plan which includes our team, the residents, the family members and our guests with the goal of assuring that we are delivering excellent care and nutrition to our residents. You will act as a visible and approachable presence during meal service, engaging with residents to ensure that their dining experience exceeds expectation, and you will work with our residents and families to solicit feedback regarding Menu preferences, dining experiences and overall satisfaction during meals. In order to be prepared for this leadership role, qualified candidates will possess: • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred or equivalent experience within Environmental Services., • Requiring experience leading the Environmental Services or Housekeeping department within a healthcare facility (EVS Director or GM level experience)., • Laundry and Linen Distribution experience preferred., • The ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role., • Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff., • Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues., • Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment., • Proven ability leading through other managers., • Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
