More info: Follow EQT on LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Instagram Job Summary The Global Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Director serves as the enterprise owner of environmental and safety risk management across Seven Seas Water Group’s global platform. This includes all of the Seven Seas Water Group of companies in the Caribbean, South America, and Texas, as well as the AUC Group, LLC in Texas. This role is accountable for establishing scalable EH&S governance, institutionalizing best practices, and delivering measurable reductions in operational risk, incidents, and regulatory exposure. The Director will translate regulatory requirements and industry standards into disciplined operating models, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting that support safe growth, operational continuity, and value creation in a private-equity-backed environment. This role will be required to be based working from the Tampa, Florida corporate office with travel to sites throughout the Seven Seas Water Group. Requirements: Key skills and Qualifications · Establish and own a standardized global EH&S operating framework, including policies, controls, and best practices that enable consistency, scalability, and regulatory compliance across all operating entities. · Design, implement, and govern enterprise EH&S performance measures, including leading and lagging indicators, to proactively manage risk, prevent incidents, and demonstrate program effectiveness to senior leadership and the Board. · Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide transparent, action-oriented visibility into EH&S performance, trends, incidents, near-misses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement outcomes. · Lead a disciplined, risk-based approach to audits, inspections, and assessments, ensuring timely remediation of findings, closure of systemic gaps, and sustained regulatory readiness. · Benchmark EH&S programs against industry standards and best-in-class operators, identifying opportunities to elevate maturity, reduce loss exposure, and support long-term enterprise value. · Partner with operations, engineering, and capital project teams to embed EH&S requirements into operating procedures, asset design, and investment decisions, ensuring risk is managed upfront rather than reactively. · Drive a performance-oriented culture of safety and environmental accountability through management engagement, data-driven reviews, and continuous improvement rigor across all levels of the organization. · Serve as the senior point of accountability for regulatory engagement, enforcement actions, and incident response, ensuring effective communication, disciplined resolution, and protection of the Company’s license to operate. · Foster a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement, engaging all levels of the organization. · Role will provide guidance and mentorship to many levels of management throughout the organization on EH&S as well as managing other safety leaders across the Seven Seas Water Group. EH&S Governance & Performance Excellence · Own the global EH&S governance model, ensuring clear accountability, standardized metrics, and disciplined execution across all operating entities. · Ensure EH&S metrics and outcomes are integrated into management operating reviews and enterprise risk management discussions. · Translate performance data, audit insights, and incident learnings into sustained cultural and operational improvements that reduce risk, enhance reliability, and support profitable growth. · Own the digital EHS management systems, including incident reporting, corrective action tracking, EH&S KPI management, inspections, training and analytics. · Board level reporting of KPI’s, and updates, and the ability to lead presentations at all levels of the organization. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). · Current CSP certification, or ability to get within the first 6 months is required. · Minimum of 10 years of EH&S leadership experience · Proven track record in managing EH&S programs in water & wastewater, utilities, or industrial environments. · Thorough knowledge of EH&S regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, etc.). · Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work collaboratively across departments and at all organizational levels. · Certification(s) such as CSP, CIH, or similar preferred. · Experience with sustainability and environmental stewardship initiatives a plus. · Experience working outside of the U.S., and with employees and managers from other cultures is important in this multi-national company. · Prior experience utilizing KPA, or a similar safety management program. · Prior experience with both water industry, and construction standards. · Prior experience with both water industry, and construction standards.
