Engagement: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our growing team in Seffner, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and desktop applications through thorough manual testing practices. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience creating and executing test plans, and the ability to collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders. This position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite per week. Key Responsibilities Manual Testing & Quality Assurance β’ Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and desktop applications., β’ Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing., β’ Identify, document, and track defects using a designated defect tracking tool., β’ Validate fixes and perform retesting to ensure resolution., β’ Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality risks., β’ Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and clarify expected system behavior., β’ Collaborate on defining QA standards, processes, and best practices for release readiness., β’ Create and maintain QA documentation including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing summaries., β’ 3β5 years of experience in manual QA testing., β’ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and software development processes., β’ Ability to create test plans and test cases based on requirements or user stories., β’ Experience with at least one test/defect management tool (ex: Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Bugzilla)., β’ Experience testing web and/or desktop applications., β’ Good understanding of use cases and functional workflows., β’ Ability to analyze and communicate test results effectively., β’ Familiarity with basic programming concepts or scripting (a plus)., β’ API or database testing experience (a plus, but not required)., β’ Strong communication skills (written and verbal)., β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities., β’ Strong attention to detail., β’ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team., β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
