Job Description Salary: $50,000-$55,000 Residency Requirement: Primary residence must be in the state of Georgia Job Summary The Distribution Supervisor has a key role at Open Hand and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our order fulfillment and delivery, with a primary focus on efficient and accurate fulfillment of sales orders. The Distribution Supervisor will ensure all processes within the department are being followed by validating on the floor and analyzing real-time data and trends. This candidate will understand cost management and the contributors that can be controlled, taking direction from their manager on how best to prioritize. This Supervisor will value customer satisfaction (internal and external) and ensure all orders and communications meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and team leadership. Supervisory Responsibilities Picking, Delivery team members, occasional volunteers Duties/ Responsibilities • Create efficient delivery routes via Workwave (routing system) and ensure staff compliance with SOPs, • Manage paperwork, keys, fuel cards and requirements for safe, on-time deliveries, • Maintain vehicle fleet, including scheduling maintenance, vehicle registrations and insurance, • Work with Volunteer Services to complete all deliveries on time and recruitment for special projects, • Complete shift notes, detailing any noteworthy explanations, • Generate timely Aptean warehouse shipments and picks for all orders, • Register timely Client/Center Picks (TEMPORARY) & Post Warehouse Shipments for all orders, • Run Inventory Projection Availability and work with Quality and Inventory Manager on substitutes, • Verify Redeliveries are processed correctly, • For delayed product, create separate Warehouse Shipments as needed, • Process Scratches, • Ensure all inventory (finished, pass-throughs, etc) processed within Distribution are managed accurately – counts, placement, handling, • Analyze and report variances/noncompliance, for example:, • dispatched vs actual route times, • WW delivery processes, • Phyltrac alerts/scores Required Skills/Abilities • Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles., • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and volunteers appropriately., • Ability to learn technology and use it effectively., • Ability to train SOPs and correct noncompliance immediately., • Ability to effectively analyze data and present results to management., • Always represents Open Hand in professional manner with focus on customer satisfaction. College degree preferred. Experience and knowledge of warehouse picking, logistics route deliveries. Experience developing and improving processes.
