This is a non-exempt, hourly position eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Shipping & Order Fulfillment • Use voice-picking technology to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders, • Assemble and verify orders for accuracy and quality before shipment, • Unload and inspect inbound merchandise for accuracy and quality, • Check in products against purchase orders and apply SKU labels, • Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers after successful completion of company-provided training and OSHA-required certification, • Assist with physical inventory and scheduled cycle counts, • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, • Wear required PPE including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves, • Follow all safety policies and report hazards or equipment issues immediately, • Follow company policies and supervisor instructions, • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals, • Perform additional duties as assigned, • Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude What You BringRequired Qualifications: Education & Experience • High school diploma or GED preferred, • Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience or equivalent training/education, • Basic English reading and writing skills sufficient to understand safety instructions, labels, and operating procedures. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team The physical requirements represent the essential functions of the role. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions, in accordance with applicable law. • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 90 lbs., • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, • Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments, including hot and cold conditions, • Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, • Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications: The following is a plus but not required - we're willing to train motivated candidates! • Forklift operation experience (sit-down, cherry picker, reach truck), • Voice-picking system experience, • Lumber or building product industry experience, • Receiving and shipping experience, • Inventory control experience, • WMS (Warehouse Management System) familiarity Physical Demands & Work Environment: • Frequent use of hands and feet for grasping, lifting, securing loads, and operating equipment controls, • Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs., • Frequent pushing and pulling of truck side-curtain walls and use of winches and ratchet straps for load securement, • Extended periods of standing and walking during scheduled shifts. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, gripping, and handling materials such as pallets, panels, lumber, straps, and tools, • Occasional climbing, squatting, and kneeling to complete assigned tasks, • Extended operation of forklifts, including frequent mounting and dismounting during picking, staging, and loading, • Ability to work at varying heights when placing or retrieving product from racking, • Maintain balance, depth perception, and spatial awareness while operating forklifts in tight aisles and around moving equipment, • Full-time position, • Day shift schedule (typical warehouse hours), • Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods as needed About Our CompaniesParksite Parksite is a premier sales, marketing, and distribution company serving the building industry with a focus on both interior and exterior products.
