Job Description Job Title: Criminal Justice Specialist Job Summary: CASES is seeking a motivated and justice-informed Criminal Justice Specialist to join its Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team. FACT is an evidence-based, community-based treatment model serving adults (18+) with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and histories of involvement in the criminal legal system whose needs have not been adequately met through traditional service delivery approaches. Services are delivered by a mobile, multidisciplinary team using a highly individualized approach to support recovery, community stability, and successful system navigation. The FACT Criminal Justice Specialist is a Bachelor’s-level mental health professional who provides outreach-based services in community settings with strong fidelity to the ACT model. In this role, the Criminal Justice Specialist engages participants through direct support and psychoeducation while serving as a liaison and advocate within the criminal legal system. Responsibilities include coordinating care during periods of incarceration, providing court updates, drafting advocacy letters for defense counsel, and supporting continuity of care across systems. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Criminal Justice Specialist functions as both a generalist and a specialist, contributing to a broad range of clinical and rehabilitative services while applying specialized expertise in criminal legal system navigation and advocacy. Salary: The salary for Criminal Justice Specialist is $61,800 per year. Shift Hours: The Criminal Justice Specialist is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. POSITION OVERVIEW Housing Specialist assess housing barriers of individuals experience homelessness to determine housing and service needs. Develop a housing procurement, financial and self-sufficiency case plan with clients: this shall include intake interview, determine client goals, needs, and eligibility. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Assesses housing needs of client upon referral from other providers., • Develops and maintains housing resources and assists clients in finding permanent, affordable housing., • Facilitates the prioritization of project-eligible individuals for participation in the project., • Procures and places participants in affordable housing and determine participant income resources that could offset subsidy amount., • Works in partnership with HUB’s housing offices and under the direction of the Housing Services Director, manage the timely payment of subsidy funds for apartment rental, utility payment one-time payments for furnishings., • Maintains documentation of client progress in case records according to all contractual & regulatory standards., • Coordinates services and communicate to team about clients’ housing progress along with participating in case reviews and case conferences., • Bachelor’s Degree, • Minimum of (2) two years of experience in housing program., • Must obtain Mandated reporter (2 hours) training/certificate within 30 days of hire., • HQSI Certification is a plus but not necessary., • Basic Social work experience preferred., • Strong leadership, excellent organizational and communication skills, • Ability to work on a strong team of professionals in a culturally diverse environment.
