We’re currently seeking a Staff Attorney to provide legal advice and counsel to the Association and its members as part of our Legal team. Job Title: Staff Attorney Reports To: Senior Managing Counsel Group: Member Legal Location: Flexible (Hybrid/Remote Opportunities) Compensation Range: $90,000 to $105,000 annually Status: Full-Time, Exempt Benefits: Competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement plan, PTO, and more! What You’ll Be Doing • Provide personal legal consultation (Provide legal advice and counsel in response to member written and telephone inquiries; Minimum of 26 calls per day.), • Develop, draft, and/or edit educational materials and communications for distribution to association members;, • Provide legal articles and other legal materials for website content in the legal section., • Fulfill legal research project assignments., • Provide legal outreach presentations., • Assist C.A.R. Realtor/Consumer Protection, Standard Forms, Insurance, Finance and Tax Committees on the State level. What You Bring Required: • JD from ABA Approved law school, • Current member of California State Bar, • 1-3 years as a practicing attorney, • Ability to exercise independent judgment confidently and quickly., • Ability to take responsibility and perform a variety of general business and trade association law tasks., • Problem solving and good legal reasoning skills.
