Job Description Job Details Location: 1 W 88th St., New York, NY 10024 Camp Dates: 6/15/2026 (Mon) - 8/21/2026 (Fri) -- (additionally, one weekend to set up, one weekend to breakdown, and an orientation date) Camp Hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm (actual shifts will vary) Hourly Wage: The hourly rate for this position is $20.25 - $22.75 per hour. The job in a nutshell is to help run all facets of a self-directed camp. While working alongside one of our Directors responsible for leading each camp, you’ll build relationships with hundreds of parents and children, helping them overcome fears, discover passions, and generally find their groove at Steve & Kate’s. You’ll help train, lead, and inspire a team, and you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of your site to keep things running smoothly and safely. There will likely be times throughout the day when you will manage camp operations without your Director on site, including opening or closing the location. Job Responsibilities Staff members will be responsible for facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. Some staff members will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers will self-select activities, while other staff will work in rotating support roles throughout camp. The best way to find out what your specific responsibilities would be is to speak with your local director, but activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and so much more! Job DescriptionBFL Apartments (BFLA) is a supportive housing program. BFLA offers services to vulnerable and needy populations with disabilities who are survivors of domestic violence, specifically, homeless disabled adults and disabled veterans, and for families who have a head of household with a disabling medical condition. The BFLA program is physically designed and equipped to serve people with physical disabilities. This program’s facility is located in the South Bronx. There are two buildings: a 70-unit studio apartment building for adult singles and a 50-unit apartment building for families. BFLA’s supportive housing program is located on Cypress Avenue and East 138th-139th Streets. The Resident Aide reports to the Facility Manager/Super. They will occupy and monitor the Reception/Front Desk areas of both sites and are expected to provide assistance to residents and schedule activities and events with residents and clinical staff. Responsibilities and qualifications are as follows: Responsibilities: • Provide coverage at the Reception Desk in monitoring entry and exit of staff, residents, and visitors; answering and directing, as appropriate, telephone calls; and completing other administrative duties as requested by supervisors., • Assist in monitoring compliance with fire and other safety regulations related to the facility., • Maintaining courteous, professional, respectful interactions with all residents, staff, and guests., • Must demonstrate the knowledge of appropriate boundaries with all residents and staff as outlined in the Employee Handbook., • Assist in addressing and following up on any incidents related to security or safety within the facility, providing emergency response and crisis management help as needed., • Ensure timely and appropriate completion of all log and incident documentation required by supervisors in recording security and safety issues/incidents., • Complete light housekeeping tasks, at the request and direction of the Shift Supervisor. These tasks may include but are not limited to, sweeping, moping, trash removal, snow removal, or cleaning when housekeeping staff is unavailable and where a safety concern is determined by the Shift Supervisor.
