We are seeking a Director of Digital Design to lead MOREgroup’s digital design and delivery strategy. This role oversees the firm’s digital tools, workflows, and standards to support design excellence, efficient project delivery, and innovation. The Director holds responsible charge for the technical quality and growth of the digital design teams and partners closely with Practice Leadership, IT, and Visualization to align digital capabilities with firm strategy and project needs. By connecting people, process, and technology, this role empowers project teams and strengthens MOREgroup’s leadership in digital delivery across the AEC industry. RESPONSIBILITIES Digital Strategy, Integration & Innovation • Develop and execute a forward-looking digital practice strategy that enhances design quality, delivery, reliability, and operational efficiency., • Align and integrate digital workflows, platforms, and processes across disciplines to drive consistency, interoperability, and high-performing project outcomes., • Evaluate emerging technologies and delivery methods, translating innovation into practical, scalable solutions that improve collaboration and efficiency., • Partner with IT, Practice Leadership, and Visualization leadership to maintain a coordinated, resilient, and future-ready digital ecosystem., • Responsible for the performance, technical quality, and professional growth of the digital design teams., • Lead, mentor, and develop Digital Design Managers, Computational Designers, data specialists, and related staff while reinforcing firm standards and values., • Align digital operations and organizational priorities through clear communication, accountability, and shared goals., • Maintain and advance firmwide digital standards, templates, and protocols to support consistent, high-quality, delivery across the organization., • Develop and deliver training programs that strengthen digital fluency, workflow competency, and platform adaptation across the organization., • Establish governance frameworks and quality metrics to evaluate and continuously improve digital workflows, model management practices, and team effectiveness., • Collaborate with Practice Leadership and project teams to develop digital execution strategies that support design intent, streamline coordination, and ensure reliable project delivery., • Maintain consistent application of project-level digital standards, including model management, data integrity, and documentation quality., • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field., • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in digital design, BIM management, or related leadership roles., • Proven experience leading cross-disciplinary digital teams, overseeing technical output, and holding responsible charge., • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, computational design tools such as Dynamo or Grasshopper, and data visualization platforms., • Strong understanding of design delivery processes, project coordination, documentation workflows, and interdisciplinary collaboration., • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain digital standards, develop training programs, and implement workflow governance frameworks., • Exceptional strategic planning, communication, and leadership skills, with ability to align teams to organizations objectives., • Architectural license or equivalent certification preferred.
