Job Description Shipping & Receiving / Inventory Specialist Job Description Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM to start / 7:00am – 3:30 pm after training (Overtime may be required) Location: Ontario, CA Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (Negotiable dependent on experience) Reports to: Shipping Lead & Warehouse Manager Key Role and Expectations: The Shipper is responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating outgoing orders to ensure products are shipped accurately, securely, and on time. This role supports efficient order fulfillment by verifying shipment details, maintaining organized shipping processes, and ensuring all materials meet company standards. Through attention to detail and adherence to procedures, the shipper helps deliver reliable customer experience and supports the company’s commitment to quality and timely delivery. This position plays a key role in receiving products, ensuring organized warehouse operations, accurate tracking, organization, and flow of materials and products within the warehouse. The Shipper also maintains a safe and organized warehouse environment by following and upholding company safety policies and procedures. This role will require constant communication between teams to ensure a good workflow. Key Responsibilities Shipping: · Prepare, package, and palletize finished products according to order requirements and company standards to ensure safe delivery without damage • Verify order accuracy, including quantities, materials, labeling, and shipping details prior to shipment, • Document shipments by capturing and submitting required before/after photos of pallets, • Prioritize and manage time effectively to meet time-sensitive shipping deadlines while following company policies and procedures, • Unload freight vehicles and containers, organizing materials in designated areas in a clean and orderly manner, • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments of materials, • Maintain accurate counts of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products (e.g., vinyl, padding foam, netting, hardware, grommets, adhesives)., • Communicate low-stock or out-of-stock issues promptly to supervisors and purchasing., • Maintain organized inventory and support inventory control, accuracy, and stock organization, • Perform daily forklift inspections and report any safety or maintenance issues immediately, • Maintain clear, safe warehouse pathways and ensure compliance with all facility safety standards, • Work with production and warehouse leads to improve organization, labeling, and storage systems, • Assist with pulling materials for production and print teams as needed, • Assist with maintaining a clean/organized work environment including parking areas, loading docks, and staging areas, • 1+ years’ experience in inventory, warehouse, or materials management, • 1+ years’ experience in Shipping & Receiving, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to lift 45 lbs. and work in a warehouse/manufacturing setting, • Forklift Certification, previously certified (with proof) or experience (Stand up reach and sit down), • Bilingual English/Spanish, • Must pass E-Verify, • Accuracy & Accountability: Takes ownership of counts, records, and reporting, • Communication: Keeps supervisors and teams informed of shortages or issues, • Teamwork: Works closely with production, installation, and sales teams, • Problem-Solving: Identifies discrepancies and works toward practical solutions, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off and holidays, • IRS plan with 3% matchingCompany DescriptionOur company strives to find our associates the right position where they can utilize their skills and experience.Our company strives to find our associates the right position where they can utilize their skills and experience.
