Job Description Job Title: Construction Manager (6 month project) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee a $15 million roof replacement project at our active manufacturing facility in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex construction activities while ensuring the facility maintains full operational capability throughout the project. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record managing large-scale industrial construction projects, with specific experience in FM Global compliance, seismic strengthening, and coordination across multiple building systems. Responsibilities • Lead all phases of the roof replacement project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and on-site construction management., • Ensure full FM Global compliance, including materials, installation methods, and documentation., • Coordinate seismic strengthening and bracing work associated with the roof structure., • Oversee integration and protection of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and mechanical systems impacted by the project., • Maintain strict adherence to ADA accessibility requirements throughout construction., • Develop and manage project schedules to minimize disruption to ongoing manufacturing operations., • Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, contractors, engineers, inspectors, and FM Global representatives., • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with all regulatory requirements., • Manage contractor performance, resolve field issues, and ensure timely completion of project milestones., • Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and compliance records., • Minimum 7–10 years of construction management experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments., • Demonstrated experience managing large capital projects ($10M+)., • Strong knowledge of FM Global standards, including roofing assemblies, fire protection, and loss prevention requirements., • Experience with seismic bracing and structural strengthening in accordance with California building codes., • Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, HVAC/ventilation, and other building systems affected by roof work., • Proven ability to manage construction in operational facilities without interrupting production., • Excellent communication, leadership, and contractor management skills., • Strong understanding of ADA accessibility requirements and their application during construction. The work will be conducted in a manufacturing facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
