Job Description Assembler & Packager Mag Instrument a highly successful manufacturer of Mag-Lite® flashlights is currently seeking self-motivated individuals to work in a fast paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Gathering of parts, subassemblies, tools and materials in preparation for production, • Insert switch assembly in-housing. Ensure proper alignment., • Ability to remember assembly sequence and maintain visual attention on assembly work with up to 25 components., • Keeps equipment operational by completing daily housekeeping requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; reporting malfunctions to Supervisor and/or lead., • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and safety regulations., • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results., • Proven ability to work effectively in a high volume and multiple demand environments., • Packages products, accessories, spares, etc., in containers, blister packages, plastic bags and cartons., • Set-up and operate automatic bagging equipment., • Load and cycle several types of packaging machines with products, blister packs, cards and literature. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment (bending, twisting, stretching, kneeling, squatting, pushing/pulling, lifting, standing and walking for extended periods), • Hand to eye coordination, • Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally, • Accuracy and consistency are crucial, • Regular attendance and punctuality, • Complete background check Qualified candidates can fax or e-mail their resume to us.
