Essential Functions & Responsibilities: • Collaborate as a member of the programmatic leadership team, which may consist of the MPA Dean/Program Director, Medical Director, Director of Student Success, and Director of Clinical Education to achieve a shared vision for the program., • Lead the design, development, implementation, coordination, and ongoing evaluation of an innovative didactic curriculum to ensure alignment with ARC-PA Standards, PAEA-specific assessments, the NCCPA blueprint, state licensure requirements, and requirements for entry-level clinical knowledge., • Develop, review, and revise as necessary the mission statement, program goals, and competencies of the program., • Assists with new course development, assuring quality outcomes and consistent implementation of Bloom’s taxonomy, course sequencing, and appropriate progression throughout the program to entry-level competencies are being met and assessed appropriately., • Oversee scheduling, coordination, and support of principal and instructional faculty, guest lecturers, and lab facilitators., • Develop the teaching schedule and workload for the didactic phase in collaboration with the MPA Dean/Program Director., • Trains didactic faculty, didactic instructional faculty (adjuncts), and guest lecturers to provide an innovative didactic education curriculum., • Serve as course director for assigned didactic or clinical phase courses, providing student instruction in areas of clinical or professional expertise., • Develop and maintain curriculum mapping, syllabi, instructional objectives, student learning outcomes, and assessments., • Ensure the development and consistency of syllabi, textbooks, learning outcomes, instructional objectives, and assessments across the didactic phase of the program meets WCU expectations and ARC-PA requirements., • Create a responsive and comprehensive assessment strategy for the didactic phase of the program to ensure students achieve programmatic benchmarks, program learning outcomes, and professional success., • Support planning and execution of academic activities related to the didactic phase, including student orientation, white coat ceremony, and commencement/pinning ceremony., • Evaluate and collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment, software, and services necessary to enhance the student experience during the didactic phase., • Support faculty recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, evaluation, and professional development as needed., • Collaborate with all faculty to ensure vertical integration of curriculum between didactic and clinical phases., • Oversee student academic progression, retention, and graduation readiness strategies for the didactic phase., • Create, review, revise, and uphold academic policies and procedures outlined in the MPA Student Handbook in coordination with the MPA Dean/Program Director, Director of Student Success, and DCE., • Manages, analyzes, interprets, and reports performance databases and the processes of data collection and analysis for the didactic portion of the WCU MPA Program., • Reviews and interprets exam statistics throughout the didactic year courses., • Perform other duties as determined by the MPA Dean/Program Director. Your Experience Includes: • For PA and Physician Candidates: Minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or clinical experience in a PA program/Medical School, or equivalent* experience in health professions education, healthcare delivery, or related fields that directly support PA student learning and curricular outcomes. *Note: Individuals without direct PA clinical experience will be considered if they demonstrate substantial experience in PA education, curriculum development, or healthcare experience/leadership aligned with program needs., • For Non-Clinician Scientist candidates: Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in PA education, academic support, or curriculum development in alignment with program needs., • Demonstrated the ability to develop clinical and didactic curriculum, program evaluation and student assessment., • Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellence., • Knowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills as applicable to specialized program area., • Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards such as Title IV, WSCUC, and ARC-PA and other accreditation standards. Job Description Position Summary The Registered Dental Assistant performs a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting a safe and cleanly environment for quality dental care. These duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the doctor; teaching the patients how to care for their teeth; communicating effectively with patients (or parents if patient is a child); maintaining equipment and inventory; cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments; and following universal precautions, OSHA requirements, and dental board auxiliaries’ regulations. Essential duties/Responsibilities • Provide oral hygiene education to patient and family, • Perform certain authorized procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist; such procedures shall be checked and approved by the supervising dentist., • Accurately and completely document patient care activities in the chart as directed by the doctor and Company policy, • Take x-rays as prescribed by the doctor, • Clean the film processor; replace developer & fixer on a weekly basis., • Clean and sanitize the "Dark Room" and “x-ray room" (walls, floor, ceiling, etc.) and report problems to floor supervisor, • Prepare operatories for various procedures, • Prepare trays for various procedures, • Ensure that operatories are stocked and cleaned at all times, • Check for patients’ signatures on the Health Questionnaire and Informed Consent Form, • Explain treatment plans to patients as needed, • Escort patients to front office area for patient dismissal when treatment is completed, and inform the receptionist when and for what their next visit must be scheduled, • Apply all-wrap in and around operatories where needed, • Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments, • Prepare lab cases, • Assist Floor Supervisor in ordering supplies and instruments, • Clean and maintain all equipment in accordance with the maintenance guidelines, • Turn off all equipment nightly, including the vacuum, compressor, etc., • Ensure that handpieces are properly cleaned and oiled, • Review the Hazard Communication book and sign the training log, • Ensure that hazardous products are properly labeled, • Follow waste disposal procedures for Sharps and for contaminated material/chemicals., • Compliance with state and Federal infection control standards in the dental office and operatories, including but not limited to: wearing protective barriers such as gloves, scrubs, and eye wear; disinfecting and sterilizing instruments and treatment areas; and disposing properly of contaminated or bio-hazardous waste/materials. The Director of Athletics and Afternoon Activities supervises all department personnel, including: the Associate Athletic Director, Athletic Trainer, Equipment Manager, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Afternoon Activity Leaders. Each full-time faculty member at The Webb Schools participates in all aspects of our school program, teaching, coaching and/or providing supervision in the afternoon program, serving as an advisor, and performing regular duty in support of the residential program. Abundant Preschool of Learning is a Title 22licensed early education program dedicated to cultivating each childs academic, spiritual, and social-emotional development. Through intentional teaching, purposeful play, and faith-based instruction, the program equips children with the confidence and skills needed for a successful transition into elementary school. APL integrates Christian values with a comprehensive curriculum designed around developmental milestones and hands-on learning experiences. The Preschool Teacher I is primarily responsible for classroom instruction and may collaborate with an assistant or associate teacher. Classrooms are intentionally structured to maintain Title 22approved ratios of one teacher for every twelve students, ensuring personalized attention, active supervision, and an engaging environment that supports each childs growth and success.
