Job Description Nationwide openings with fast starts in the North Eastern and North Western States. Responsibilities: • Provide direct resident care, • Assist with ADLs, vitals, med passes, • Coordinate with RNs and CNAs, • Active LPN license, • 1+ year LTC/SNF experience, • Top LPN travel pay packages, • Fast credentialing, • ShiftShield protection from cancellations Duties • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations., • Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and protocols., • Manage IV infusions, catheter care, and tube feeding procedures with aseptic technique., • Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and sterile processing as needed., • Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as blood draws (venipuncture), specimen collection, and processing., • Monitor patients on ventilators or with respiratory needs; manage airway and oxygen therapy., • Document all patient interactions thoroughly within EMR/EHR systems like Cerner, Epic, or Athenahealth., • Provide education on health coaching, discharge planning, and chronic disease management., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive patient care., • Ensure infection control practices are maintained according to facility standards., • Valid LPN license in the state of practice., • Proven experience in settings such as long-term care, hospice, ICU, emergency room, or medical-surgical units., • Knowledge of ICD-9/10 coding and medical terminology; familiarity with CPT coding is a plus., • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner, Epic, eClinicalWorks; experience with medical imaging or lab processing is advantageous., • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and infection control protocols., • Ability to perform venipuncture, IV insertion/infusion, catheterization, and other technical skills confidently., • Excellent patient assessment skills; compassionate approach to senior care or pediatric patients including neonatal ventilator management or toddler/neonatal care experience preferred., • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards., • Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
