CONSIGNMENT COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supporting Directors during the consignment process, including sending consignment contracts and inventory lists for signature, • Coordinating, monitoring, and processing incoming consignments, • Opening packages, verifying and labeling contents, creating a record for each item in the Heritage database, • Auditing contracts and other consignment paperwork for accuracy, • Performing department-wide inventories of consignment material, • Proactively following up on pending requests and outstanding issues, • Assisting with order picking/pulling when needed, • Processing shipping requests, • Assisting with gallery previews on and off-site, organizing and labeling property on display, • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced industry, • Ability to communicate clearly and quickly via email, phone, and instant message, • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, • Ability to prioritize and complete many tasks and projects that are assigned at once, • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of organizational skills and attention to detail, • Proficiency in reviewing and describing timepieces with a great attention to detail., • Excellent writing skills, • Ability to follow assigned formats, • Strong research skills in a high-production environment, • Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required, • Minimum 2+ years’ work experience in a fast-paced environment, • Experience in customer service, order fulfillment, retail, or the service industry is a plus, • Interest in Timepieces or Collectibles is a plus Heritage Auctions welcomes and encourages applications from women, minorities, veterans, mature workers, and persons with disabilities.
