Position Summary: The Travel Financial Center Representative is responsible for supporting the supervisor both as a Banker and Teller in providing exceptional client service, operational and audit excellence, while making appropriate referrals. This position will be required to travel to branches in the New Orleans area. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay. This position may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills: • GED or High school diploma, • 1 year cash handling experience in a financial institution or retail environment, • Ability to travel across company footprint as needed, • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, • Ability to travel across company footprint as needed, • Developed cognitive skills to include Problem Solving, Judgement, Decision-Making, Organization & Planning, • Developed intrapersonal skills to include Ambition, Follow-Through, Optimism, Tenacity,, • Developed interpersonal skills to include Communication: Listening, Speaking, and Writing, Resilience & Balance, Collaboration, Client Focus, • Developed technology skills to include Technical Acumen, Social Branding, Knowledge Management, • Developed leadership skills to include Developing Followers, Achieving Results, Implementing the Vision, Strategic Thinking, Leading & Managing Change, Addressing Conflict, • 6 months of retail banking experience, • High-volume cash handling experience, • Perform teller transactions, • Responsible for balancing, locating and reconciling discrepancies in cash drawer including end-of-day balancing procedures and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary, • Assist with balancing, locating and reconciling vault and ATM transaction as well as incoming and outgoing money shipments, • Open new accounts and handles client maintenance requests, • Contribute to the financial center’s success by achieving assigned referral goals, • Engage in consultative conversations with clients to build relationships, cross-sell, and promote Fidelity’s products and services, • Report to a supervisor for approvals when assistance is needed with transactions, • Provide customer assistance related to banking needs both in-person and over the phone, • Assist supervisor with maintaining accurate reports, • Report any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary, • Assist in maintaining branch appearance standards, • Assist with mentoring associates, • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, • Consistently exemplify our Core Values of Integrity, Community, Dependability, Excellence, Longevity, and Accountability, • Comply with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability, • Perform other duties and/or special projects as appointed by management If you require an accommodation to submit your application for an open position, please send an email request to or call 985-612-2764 or 504-833-4344.
