Job Description We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant Store Manager/Customer Service to join our team! At The UPS Store Assistant Managers aid Store Managers in strengthening the skills of team members while successfully completing administrative tasks free of error. Members of our management team always lead by example and uphold the highest level of professionalism with coworkers and customers alike. As an essential business, demand for our services has greatly increased and we need more hardworking individuals, like you, on our team. Our services focus on helping a wide variety of clients from small businesses to individuals, and eCommerce through packing and shipping, mailboxes, graphic design, printing, notary, and more. Experience • A minimum of 1 year customer service/retail management and sales experience leading and developing teams to achieve business goals., • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suites, or the ability to learn new software is highly desirable., • Supervise team of retail sales workers, • Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency, • Resolve escalated customer complaints, • Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional attitude, • Assist in supervising and training team members, • Support sales growth through product and service recommendations, • Ensure store standards are met (cleanliness, merchandising, procedures), • Handle shipping, packing, printing, and mailbox services, • Open and/or close the store as needed, • Resolve customer issues with patience and problem‐solving skills, • Previous experience in retail, sales, retail management, customer service, or other related fields, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent written and communication skills, • Strong leadership qualities, • Strong sales skills with the ability to recommend and upsell products/services, • Reliable, dependable and hardworking—must show strong follow‐through, • Excellent communication and customer interaction abilities, • Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment, • Basic computer proficiency, • Competitive pay based on experience, • Opportunities for training and advancement, • Positive team environment, • Employee discounts on store products and services, • Medical, dental, Vision Insurance, • Paid time off Company DescriptionThe UPS Store #1588 is a locally owned and operated retail and business services center located in the heart of Westwood, NJ.
