Job Summary: The Regional Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with customers within their assigned region, driving growth through new client acquisition and current client retention and expansion. This role requires a proactive sales professional who can develop strategies to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with clients. This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Development. Summary of Responsibilities: • Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, understand their needs, and promote high levels of customer satisfaction., • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services within the assigned region, driving revenue growth in line with company objectives., • New Business Development: Prospect and acquire new clients by identifying potential customers, generating leads, and closing sales. Partner with the internal partners to move deals through the pipeline., • Territory Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the assigned region, targeting both current accounts and new prospects., • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts using Hubspot. Monitor and report on regional account performance (i.e., revenue generation, account retention, etc.), pipeline growth, and key performance metrics to the Director Sales and/or the Senior Director of Business Development. Keep all CRM records up to date. Review and complete tasks assigned via non-CRM platforms., • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Collaborate with the fellow Regional Accounts Managers to promote cohesion of regional strategies and support nationwide revenue growth., • Market Research, Customer Discovery, and Voice of Client Acquisition: Proactively assess the market landscape, what competitors are doing, as well as keep up to date with GRS’ offerings and solution/product development pipeline. As directed, lead customer discovery and voice of client acquisition efforts and plans. Maintain working knowledge of Title IX, equity, and other compliance subject matter areas to informedly develop strategies and meet client needs., • Communication: Communicate with internal partners and external parties in a organized, accurate, and timely manner. Represent Grand River Solutions in line with company human resources, marketing, branding, and identity standards in professional contexts. The pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and New York City is $100,000 - $140,000. For those who are elsewhere in California, the range is $100,000 - $140,000. For those based in Colorado, the range is $100,000 – $140,000. For those based in Washington State, the range is $100,000 - $140,000. As noted above, all of these pay ranges depend upon specific location, knowledge, relevant experience, background, and skills. In addition to a base salary, this role is eligible for commission tied to sales and company performance, providing the potential to increase total compensation.
