About the Role: Vice President, Operations The Vice President, Operations is a strategic leader responsible for scaling ExpertPays operational infrastructure, compliance frameworks, and cross-functional execution. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role oversees the full Account Management orgincluding the Director of Account Management, Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and Submissions Associates. Youll architect systems, reinforce culture, and drive continuous improvement across every operational touchpoint. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring that case operations, client experience, onboarding, and reporting are executed with precision and brand integrity. Key Responsibilities Strategic Operations & Compliance • Architect and refine operational systems to support scalability, security, and audit-readiness., • Lead cross-functional initiatives to align SOPs, workflows, and documentation with compliance frameworks (SOC 2 and HIPAA)., • Oversee policy enforcement and process architecture across departments., • Partner with legal and finance teams to ensure contract integrity, risk mitigation, and regulatory alignment., • Drive strategic improvement initiatives, including compensation planning, RACI alignment, and role clarity. Account Management Oversight • Lead and mentor the Director, Account Management, and downstream team members., • Ensure consistent execution of case operations, client experience processes, and onboarding protocols., • Oversee strategic reporting, firm relationship management, and quality control of expert services., • Support escalation resolution and interdepartmental coordination across legal, finance, and client success. Culture Stewardship & Team Enablement • Reinforce company culture through onboarding, training modules, and internal communications., • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President, Strategic Initiative,s on executive priorities and operational storytelling. Systems & Technology • Ensure data integrity, permissions, and content ownership across the ExpertPays Portal., • Evaluate and implement tools that enhance operational efficiency and team collaboration. Candidate Profile Required: • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field., • 8+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in legal, financial, or professional services., • Proven track record of scaling systems, leading cross-functional teams, and driving compliance initiatives., • Demonstrated experience in team management, including supervision, coaching, and staff development across multiple levels., • Strong command of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and operational reporting tools., • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills., • High emotional intelligence and culture-building mindset., • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity., • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and continuous improvement. Preferred: • Familiarity with legal funding, expert witness coordination, or litigation support services. Location This is a full-time, in-office position based in Las Vegas, NV.
