Description Job Title: \tIT Business Analyst – Oracle Financial Systems Department: \tInformation Technology Reports To: \tDirector, IT Product Management – Financial, Planning, & Reporting Systems Job Region: \tOnsite 5x week (Portland Oregon, Bellevue Washington, or Carson California) Summary The IT Business Analyst – Oracle Financial Systems serves as a strategic partner at the intersection of Finance and Technology. This role is responsible for supporting and administering Oracle Fusion Financial modules and associated enterprise integrations and reporting systems. The position blends hands-on ERP systems administration with business analysis and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Data Engineering, and IT Product Management to ensure system configuration, integrations, reporting structures, and governance processes align with enterprise financial objectives. This role requires both technical fluency and business acumen, with the ability to translate accounting processes into scalable, well-governed system solutions. Top Skills Details Oracle Fusion Financials, Business analysis, ERP, Sql, Integration, source to target, enterprise performance management Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): o\tOracle Fusion & EPM Administration o\tSupport and administer Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including General Ledger structures, reporting hierarchies, security roles, and configuration management. o\tSupport and administer Oracle EPM including user access and configuration/dimension management o\tMaintain and enhance financial reporting structures and configurations in alignment with accounting governance. o\tCoordinate system updates, patches, and configuration changes across technical and finance stakeholders. o\tEnsure appropriate documentation and audit traceability of system changes. -\tFinancial Systems & Integration Oversight o\tPartners with Data Engineering to define and validate integrations between Oracle Fusion and enterprise data platforms. o\tPerform data validation, reconciliation analysis, and root cause investigation across systems. o\tMaintain system flow diagrams, data lineage documentation, and source-to-target mappings. -\tBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder Partnership o\tWorks directly with Finance and Accounting teams to gather and refine requirements. o\tSupports period close changes, reporting adjustments, and structural updates. o\tTranslates accounting processes into technical system configuration requirements. o\tSupport backlog prioritization in partnership with IT Product Management. o\tIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes through system optimization. -\tApplication Support & Vendor Coordination o\tServe as primary point of intake for Oracle Fusion-related support requests from Accounting, Finance, and business stakeholders. o\tTriage, prioritize, and manage support tickets, ensuring appropriate classification, resolution tracking, and stakeholder communication. o\tCoordinate activities across onshore and offshore support teams, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with defined SLAs. o\tMonitor recurring issues and partner with Product Management and Engineering to drive root cause analysis and long-term remediation. o\tFacilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical support resources to ensure clarity of requirements and resolution outcomes. o\tTrack support trends and provide reporting on system health, backlog, and performance metrics. o\tEscalate high-impact or cross-functional issues appropriately and proactively manage stakeholder expectations. o\tTools and Equipment Used (not all inclusive): This position works with standard office equipment. o\tFrequently required to sit, walk, reach and grasp. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Additionally, the individual will have the ability to perform the outlined duties of the position along with multi-task and multi-project capabilities. Language Skills The individual must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. They must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. In addition, they should be able to speak effectively before groups of individuals, including the industry, employees, and customers. Mathematical Skills The individual must have above-average mathematics skills. This includes adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability The individual must be able to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
