Your Role Hi, I’m Nick Rasmussen, VP, Business Development & Go-To-Market Strategy at WebPros, and I'll be your hiring manager. I have over 15 years of experience in business development, focused on partnerships, GTM strategies, and driving revenue growth across a dynamic portfolio of brands. I’m excited to build out my team with a self-starter who can help me drive growth across our WebPros ecosystem. This new role, Manager of Business Development and Strategic Growth, is a key position on my team responsible for driving revenue growth by building and managing strategic partnerships and identifying and vetting new business opportunities. You will be instrumental in creating and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and closing new deals, and providing strategic direction for critical business lines. You'll thrive here if you are a proactive and analytical self-starter with a passion for identifying new opportunities and driving them to completion. This role requires someone who can navigate complex, cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments. You might struggle here if you prefer highly structured roles with rigid processes or require constant direction. We operate in a fast-moving environment where ambiguity is common, and success hinges on your ability to take initiative and drive clarity. Your Qualifications:Core Requirements: • Experience in a business development and partnerships ecosystem., • A demonstrable record of closing complex new business and partnership deals., • Experience in the SaaS, Domains, or hosting industry with an understanding of subscription and partner-driven revenue models., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and align stakeholders., • Experience in business and Go-To-Market (GTM) analytics around LTV, CAC, ecommerce, and Sales funnel analytics., • Experience in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives., • Executive presence with strong analytical, organizational, and partner management skills., • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity and action in fast-moving environments., • A deep desire and knowledge of the evolving AI landscape and a pragmatic approach to driving AI strategy.Preferred Qualifications:, • Relevant degree in business fields or an applied science. 30 Days: Get fully onboarded and familiarize yourself with WebPros' brands and product ecosystem, specifically cPanel, Plesk, and WHMCS. Begin building relationships with key internal stakeholders, including leadership in Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance. 60 Days: Take ownership of a few existing strategic partnerships, identifying areas for growth and expansion. Conduct an exploratory analysis to find new growth opportunities in revenue and partnerships. 120 Days: Successfully negotiate and close your first new business or partnership deal. Provide strategic direction for a critical business line and present your findings and strategy to senior leadership. 180 Days: Drive measurable revenue growth through new and existing partnerships, exceeding $100K in Annual Recurring Revenue. Serve as a strategic advisor to the GTM leadership team, synthesizing inputs and managing cross-functional initiatives. You'll also begin defining and leading a roadmap for pragmatic AI adoption across GTM functions, focusing on automation, personalization, and sales enablement. How We Work Team & Workflow: This is an individual contributor role within the Business Development team. You will be working with and reporting to Nick Rasmussen, VP, Business Development & Go-To-Market Strategy. The team works remotely and collaborates with other VPs and managers across departments. Collaboration & Ownership: Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership and change management. You will work closely with leadership in Product, Finance, Marketing, and Legal. Work Processes: A typical week involves a mix of meetings (20-30 per week) and focused work, with an approximate 50/50 meeting-to-work ratio. You will provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to stakeholders and executives. The team's rituals include daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
