Lead Accountant (Commercial Construction) – What You Will Do You will shadow the Controller and perform hands-on accounting functions across accounts receivable / construction WIP and billing, accounts payable, and payroll, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role overseeing the accounting team. DATUM is building the future of industrial AI, and here's our secret: The technology isn't the hard part. Understanding the humans who use it—that's where the magic happens. While our ML team builds models that predict the unpredictable, you'll uncover why an operator trusts their gut over the algorithm, and how we fix that. Your research won't live in slide decks. It'll ship in products used 24/7 by people whose decisions impact energy security, environmental safety, and human lives. The Research Reality Pack your steel-toes. You'll spend as much time in the field as in front of your laptop. One day you're conducting contextual interviews on a drilling rig. The next, you're in a boardroom understanding how executives parse risk.
