Job Description Director, Custom Research Location – NYC Data-Driven Research and Insights MarketCast combines the power of research, technology, and data science to help marketers and researchers maximize their advertising impact and unlock brand Fandom. Today our clients represent the biggest names in entertainment, tech, consumer brands, and sports and video games, and our impact touches the lives of billions of people around the globe. #FandomIsOurJam We’re looking for: • Someone who is excellent at managing insights projects from start to finish., • Folks who can see data and tell a story, who knows how to find actionable insights and how to move beyond basic reportage approach., • Someone who can mentor junior team members on every stage of the research process and who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump in., • Loves building client relationships – we believe business is about people and relationships, in and out of the research project., • Team player – we are stronger together. We value whatis accomplished and how we work together as a team to achieve results., • Creative thinker, curious mind, strategic brain and strong communicator., • Strong communicator – written and verbal. Being able to find the right words to articulate the question, the story, and everything in between well., • At least 6 years of experience in custom primary quant research working with tech, telco, and/or app based clients. We dig templated projects, love tracking, but in this group, we're all about unique business questions, so custom experience is key., • A Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Economics, Business, Marketing, Statistics or a related field., • Razor-sharp skills in all basic Office/ Google docs applications; knowledge of an array of common communications tools and platforms; experience with or knowledge of research platforms a plus. Per the pay transparency law, the hiring compensation for this position is $122,000 to $128,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skill set, and any other factors MarketCast considers relevant to the hiring decision.
