American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technician, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/20/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 20, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work setting is a 554-bed Level I Trauma, academic teaching, and children's hospital with short-term acute care services, • Performs general radiology exams across inpatient, outpatient, OR, ER, and trauma/resuscitation areas, • Patient population spans all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, • Procedures include a wide range of general radiology studies: chest, abdomen, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx), extremities, skull, orbits, C-arm, and portable imaging, • Experience working in Adult Acute Care, Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR settings required, • Charting system is Cerner, • Schedule is Friday through Monday, 9-hour shifts with a 30-minute break (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM), • 12-hour on-call shifts are a possibility, • May be requested to cover alternative shiftsRequirements, • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray, • Active ARRT certification and current BLS required, • NM state license required if applicable, • Experience in Level I Trauma, children's hospital, ER, OR, and both inpatient and outpatient settings required, • Proficiency with PACS and Cerner required, • Must be able to work with all patient age groups including neonates through geriatrics, • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible, • COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with completed exemption form signed by a provider for medical exemptions, • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration, • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for considerationAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • RQI certifications are not accepted, • Scrub color is Hunter Green, • Parking is provided at no cost, • Time-off requests exceeding 7 days require approval; all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
