Senior Inventory Accountant ThreeSixty Group is a fast-growing product development and distribution company supplying seasonal and durable consumer goods to leading retailers, primarily in the US. The company is headquartered in Irvine, California, with a staff of over 100 personnel comprising the ThreeSixty Group executive management, sales and account management, product development, brand management, purchasing, finance and accounting, and general counsel's office. ThreeSixty Group has an extensive sourcing capability based in Hong Kong executing product development, sourcing and quality assurance through our team of 300 people across Asia. In 2016 ThreeSixty Group announced the acquisitions of the iconic FAO Schwarz and Sharper Image brands providing additional platforms leveraging the core capabilities of brand and product development, souring and distribution. Job Description • Monitor inventory ensuring that inventory quantities and pricing are accurately stated, • Work with Account Managers and warehouse personnel to research and resolve inventory related issues, • Reconcile inventory unit activity in ERP to various internal and third-party warehouses, and investigate any inventory unit variances to resolution, • Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reconciling the Received Not Vouchered account, comparing the inventory received against bills processed, and investigating any variances, • Supervise and develop inventory cost specialist, • Responsible for preparation of landed cost analysis for all company inbound container inventory purchases, • Process inventory assembly builds and resolve other inventory processing errors from ASNs, • Review inventory adjustment GL accounts and research activity, • Resolve inventory-related ERP issues such as negative inventory quantities and zero cost items, • Prepare inventory reserve analysis for slow moving and obsolete items on a quarterly basis, • Reconcile inventory accounts to the general ledger, • Prepare month-end journal entries for Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold accounts, • Support and partner on continuous process and procedural improvements, including documentation of improvements, • Lead process for warehouse cycle counting and annual physical inventories, • Participate in year-end audit, bank audits and prepare inventory related schedules, • Maintain strong relationships with warehouse, operations and sales support teams, • Provide ad hoc reports as requested by senior management, including summarization and presenting relevant data Experience & Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required., • CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Technically sound in US GAAP., • Advanced skills in MS Excel. Comfortable extracting data and creating reports using pivot tables, v-lookups and sum-if formulas, etc., • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to be able to summarize and present data to company leaders., • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)., • Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills., • Works with integrity and honesty., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
