Job DescriptionPosition Title: Sandwich Artist (Weekend Position)Reports To: Food Service ManagementPosition Summary Traders Village Flea Market is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sandwich Artist to join our team at our indoor Subway restaurant. This is a weekend position (Saturdays and Sundays required) The Sandwich Artist is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing high-quality food, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting daily restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests with a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude, • Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system, • Prepare sandwiches and food items according to established formulas and standards, • Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change, • Perform cash handling procedures, including shift balancing, • Maintain full knowledge of menu items and effectively communicate options to guests, • Restock food and supplies to ensure continuous service, • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards, • Clean and maintain all restaurant areas using proper wash, rinse, and sanitize procedures, • Adhere to all operational standards outlined in company procedures, • Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards, • Complete assigned training, including required Subway University courses, • Perform light paperwork and additional duties as assignedQualifications, • Friendly, dependable, and customer-service oriented, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Basic math and cash-handling skills, • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, • Must be available to work every weekend (Saturday & Sunday), • Previous food service experience is a plusEssential Functions / Physical Requirements, • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for the entire shift, • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions, • Must be able to lift:, • Up to 10 lbs frequently, • Up to 30 lbs occasionally, • Ability to work in varying temperatures (indoor/outdoor transitions between restaurant and storage areas), • Ability to operate a computerized POS systemWork Environment, • Fast-paced, high-volume food service setting, • Team-oriented environment i30HcX44br
