Today, We Are Looking For The Operations Manager, Membership & Investor Relations, is a highly strategic and versatile leader responsible for optimizing operational excellence across membership, sponsorship, and capital campaigns, while providing critical executive support to the Senior Vice President (SVP). This role drives efficiency, champions data integrity, and directly enhances revenue growth and investor relations by refining processes and leveraging technology. This role significantly contributes to the Greater Houston Partnership's financial sustainability and mission. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The following responsibilities are essential to job performance: • Operational Strategy & Process Optimization: Lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of operational strategies for member acquisition, retention, sponsorship, and capital campaigns. Design, oversee, and continuously optimize highly efficient operational workflows, including proposal generation, contract management, and comprehensive invoicing. Establish and enforce standardized financial procedures within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation. Drive efficient new member processing and investor inquiry protocols., • CRM System Management & Data Integrity (Salesforce): Serve as the primary expert for Salesforce CRM optimization, data governance, and comprehensive reporting, managing all sponsor, member, prospect, and capital campaign data and pipelines., • Performance Analytics & Reporting: Develop, analyze, and present comprehensive reports on sales activities, pipeline performance, and revenue generation, providing actionable, data-driven insights to leadership and stakeholders., • Executive & Departmental Strategic Support: Proactively manage the SVP's calendar and commitments, prepare the SVP and department leaders for key internal and external meetings, and draft critical correspondence. Streamline information flow for leadership. Act as a primary liaison between the SVP, internal departments, and external partners, handling all matters with utmost discretion. Provide dedicated strategic and administrative support for the Membership Committee., • Cross-Functional Integration & SOP Development: Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue goals and enhance the overall member journey. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all membership and sponsorship operations., • Results-Oriented & Proactive Leader: Highly results-oriented professional with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and significant efficiency gains., • Process Optimization Expertise: Demonstrated ability to strategically analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability., • CRM Mastery: Expert-level understanding and ability to administer, configure, and optimize Salesforce, including advanced reporting, dashboards, automation rules, and data governance. Proven experience managing and maintaining accurate sponsor, member, prospect, and capital campaign data within CRM systems, including pipeline management., • Exceptional Organizational & Project Management Skills: Superior strategic planning, organizational design, and project management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple complex initiatives, and deliver results independently., • Analytical & Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping, coupled with an ability to implement robust quality control measures., • Superior Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders and translate complex operational concepts., • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and foster strong relationships with members, sponsors, and internal stakeholders, enhancing investor satisfaction and retention through operational excellence., • Problem-Solving & Autonomy: Demonstrated strong initiative, proactive problem-solving, and decisive decision-making capabilities, with a high degree of autonomy and accountability., • Technological Agility: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Basecamp or similar project management tools. Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies for efficiency., • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and contribute positively to a cohesive team environment., • Significant experience in operations management or sales operations, preferably within an association, chamber, or non-profit environment focused on membership/investor relations., • Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing automation solutions for process improvement., • Advanced administrative experience with Salesforce, including experience with custom objects, workflows, process builders, and advanced reporting., • Strong experience with financial management and invoicing systems, understanding integration points with CRM platforms. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Required Experience • Good vision and hearing acuity (with adaptive aids if necessary)., • Manual dexterity and skillful use of computer keyboard.
