With 300+ brands and 1,000+ products, we connect high-quality Korean food brands and manufacturers with U.S. consumers, retailers, restaurants, food service businesses, and corporate partners. \n \n Our B2B division is expanding across wholesale, food service, retail, distribution, and corporate accounts. \n \n About the Role \n We are seeking a senior B2B sales and business development leader with substantial food-industry experience, an established network of industry contacts, and proven team-management experience to lead Wooltari's growing U.S. B2B business. \n \n This is a people-management and business-leadership role responsible for driving new account acquisition, growing strategic customer relationships, developing B2B revenue opportunities, and leading the team responsible for day-to-day B2B execution. \n The B2B Team Manager will personally develop new business opportunities and maintain key customer relationships while setting priorities, providing direction, coaching the team, and ensuring accountability. \n \n This is not simply a senior B2B sales or account-management position. The ideal candidate must be able to open new accounts, leverage an existing food-industry network, lead a team, and drive the overall growth of the B2B business. \n \n The B2B Team Manager will manage the B2B Account Specialist and provide direction to the existing B2B administrative support function. Routine clerical work is supported by the existing admin resource; this position is responsible for setting priorities, assigning work, providing direction, and ensuring the overall B2B operation is properly executed. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n B2B Business Leadership \n\n • Own the overall growth and performance of Wooltari's U.S. B2B business\n, • Develop and execute B2B sales strategies across wholesale, food service, retail, distribution, and other channels\n, • Establish sales priorities, account strategies, and business development goals\n, • Set team objectives and establish clear expectations for sales activity, account management, and business development\n, • Monitor revenue, margin, account growth, pipeline, and overall sales performance\n, • Develop forecasts and provide regular business updates to company leadership\n, • Identify market opportunities, customer trends, and areas for expansion\n, • Develop strategies to increase revenue while considering pricing, profitability, inventory, and operational capabilities\n\n \n New Business Development \n\n • Personally drive new account acquisition and major business opportunities\n, • Leverage an established network of food-industry contacts to identify and open new accounts\n, • Develop relationships with retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, food service operators, distributors, manufacturers, and other strategic partners\n, • Lead prospect meetings, presentations, negotiations, and business discussions\n, • Build and maintain a qualified B2B sales pipeline\n, • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across multiple B2B channels\n, • Build long-term commercial partnerships rather than relying solely on transactional sales\n, • Identify opportunities to expand Wooltari's product assortment and distribution footprint\n, • Develop strategic approaches for entering new accounts, channels, and markets\n\n \n Strategic Account Management \n\n • Own relationships with key and strategic B2B customers\n, • Lead account reviews, pricing discussions, negotiations, and business planning\n, • Develop account-specific growth strategies\n, • Monitor customer profitability, sales performance, and account growth\n, • Identify opportunities for increased volume, product penetration, and account expansion\n, • Resolve high-level customer issues and ensure strong service levels\n, • Maintain senior-level relationships with key customers\n, • Develop strategies to retain and grow major accounts\n\n \n Team Leadership & Management \n\n • Lead, coach, and develop the B2B team\n, • Manage and provide direction to the B2B Account Specialist\n, • Set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for the B2B team\n, • Review sales pipeline, customer activity, account performance, and business-development progress\n, • Coach team members on prospecting, account management, negotiation, and customer communication\n, • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability\n, • Direct the existing B2B administrative support function\n, • Assign and prioritize administrative work based on business needs\n, • Ensure customer documentation, order support, and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time\n, • Identify process gaps and implement improvements\n, • Build a team culture focused on ownership, responsiveness, and commercial execution\n\n \n U.S.–Korea B2B Strategy & Collaboration \n\n • Serve as the primary U.S.-side business partner to Wooltari Korea's B2B Strategist\n, • Work directly with the Korea B2B Strategist to align U.S. execution with overall B2B strategy\n, • Collaborate on U.S. market expansion, channel strategy, product assortment, pricing, and major business opportunities\n, • Communicate U.S. market conditions, customer needs, competitive activity, and sales opportunities to the Korea team\n, • Develop and execute joint initiatives with the Korea B2B team\n, • Lead discussions regarding major U.S. B2B opportunities and strategic partnerships\n, • Translate Korea-side strategy into clear priorities and actionable plans for the U.S. B2B team\n, • Coordinate with Korea on product sourcing, availability, pricing, promotions, and business development\n, • Maintain flexibility for recurring and ad hoc meetings with the Korea team outside standard U.S. business hours due to the time difference\n\n \n Cross-Functional Collaboration \n\n • Partner with purchasing, logistics, fulfillment, finance, marketing, operations, and other internal teams\n, • Ensure B2B sales commitments are aligned with inventory, pricing, margin, logistics, and fulfillment capabilities\n, • Identify operational barriers to B2B growth and coordinate solutions\n, • Ensure new accounts are properly onboarded and supported across internal functions\n, • Develop processes that improve communication between B2B and operational teams\n, • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure customer commitments can be executed effectively\n\n \n Events, Meetings & Outside Business Activities \n\n • Represent Wooltari in customer meetings, industry events, networking opportunities, trade shows, and other B2B business activities\n, • Build relationships with prospective and existing customers through in-person meetings and industry networking\n, • Attend relevant food industry events and business-development activities\n, • Lead customer meetings and presentations for major and strategic accounts\n, • Identify new business opportunities through industry events and professional networks\n, • Some local and occasional outside travel is expected as part of customer meetings, networking, industry events, trade shows, and business-development activities\n, • Represent Wooltari professionally in external meetings and customer-facing activities\n\n \n Reporting & Business Performance \n\n • Maintain visibility into pipeline, account activity, revenue, margins, and customer performance\n, • Prepare forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports\n, • Analyze sales performance and identify areas requiring action\n, • Report significant opportunities, risks, and customer issues to leadership\n, • Use sales data and customer feedback to guide business-development priorities\n, • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding B2B growth, pipeline, major accounts, and business opportunities\n\n \n Qualifications \n Required \n\n • 8+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or commercial leadership\n, • Substantial professional experience in the food industry\n, • Experience in one or more of the following:\n, • Food or CPG sales\n, • Food service\n, • Food distribution\n, • Grocery / supermarket\n, • Food manufacturing\n, • Food brand or product sales\n, • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team\n, • Proven ability to acquire and grow B2B customer accounts\n, • Established professional network and relationships within the food industry\n, • Demonstrated experience managing significant customer accounts and business relationships\n, • Strong negotiation and business-development skills\n, • Ability to understand sales performance, pricing, profitability, and commercial strategy\n, • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills\n, • Strong Korean and English communication skills\n, • Comfortable leading customer meetings, networking, industry events, and other external business activities\n, • Ability to travel locally and occasionally outside the immediate area as needed\n, • Maintain flexibility for meetings with Wooltari Korea outside standard U.S. business hours\n, • Authorized to work in the United States\n\n \n Preferred \n\n • Existing relationships with Korean/Asian grocery, food service, restaurant, distributor, or food manufacturing companies\n, • Experience selling Korean or Asian food products\n, • Experience managing wholesale and food service channels\n, • Experience working with both U.S. and Korean business teams\n, • Experience working directly with food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, or major food service customers\n, • Experience with CRM and sales reporting systems\n, • Experience managing cross-functional operations involving purchasing, logistics, fulfillment, and finance\n\n \n
