Job Description Title: Chief of Staff Location: 3 days per week on-site in NYC Duration: 6-month contract Pay Rate: $80-100/hr on W2 Must Haves: • 12–15 years of experience working with C-suite executives, managing complex matrixed environments, • Proven track record in business operations, strategy, finance, or consulting within large organizations, • Strong ability to adapt and lead in ambiguous, fast-paced settings, • Deep experience with operating models, business models, and resource management, • Exceptional executive communication skills Pluses: • Experience in strategic planning, data and insights, or financial services, • Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, or program management Key Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of four business operations professionals, each aligned to specific deliverables supporting CMCD priorities. Ensure clarity of roles, effective handoffs, and high performance across the team., • Own and run the operating cadence for CMCD, including leadership meetings, business reviews, planning checkpoints, and All Hands. Set agendas, prepare materials, document decisions, and communicate outcomes to ensure alignment and follow-through., • Support mid- and long-term planning, translating leadership priorities into actionable plans and milestones. Drive prioritization discussions, surface risks and dependencies, and enable timely executive decisions., • Oversee operating expenses, headcount tracking, budget pacing, and vendor/supplier spend. Partner with Finance and People teams on org design and workforce planning. Ensure cost discipline and alignment to business priorities., • Track progress against KPIs and commitments, identify gaps, and course-correct as needed. Synthesize data and insights into clear executive-level readouts., • Act as the primary interface with Finance, HR, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Enterprise Operations. Drive alignment and seamless execution across teams, supporting transformation and process improvement initiatives., • Support internal communications, including leadership updates, org-wide messaging, and executive presentations. Develop high-quality decks and written narratives for senior leadership audiences.
