Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Orthopaedic Registered Nurse to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Linwood, Manahawkin, and Hammonton Offices. The Orthopaedic Registered Nurse will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, managing nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care delivery while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Job Title: Orthopaedic Registered Nurse Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 depending on specialty and experience Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off, sick time, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, accident, and critical illness), life insurance, 401(k) with Company match, yearly bonus Clinical Duties (not limited to): • Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, prep injections, and more., • Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints., • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient visits and minor procedures., • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, pre and post-operative care for hip and knee replacement surgery., • Perform triage (phone and in-office) and respond to patient clinical inquiries., • Manage clinical tasks such as:, • Dressing changes Suture/staple removal, • Pre-op and post-op preparation, • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols., • Assist with medication refills and prior authorizations when needed. Administrative Duties (not limited to): • When assistance is needed, check patients in/out, schedule appointments, and coordinate follow-ups., • Verify insurance information and assist with authorizations for injections, imaging, and surgery., • Manage patient records using the practice's EHR/EMR system., • Answer phone calls, manage messages, and route communication to providers., • Support the surgical coordinator with paperwork, pre-op instructions, postoperative tracking, and patient communication., • Process forms, medical records requests, and documentation needed for patient care., • Monitor inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed., • Ensure all documentation and charting meet clinical compliance standards. Maintain Licensure or Certification: • Required:, • Current LPN or RN license (NJ)., • CPR/BLS certification., • Clinical experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or hospital setting., • Preferred:, • Experience in orthopaedics, and musculoskeletal care., • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Athena or willing to learn., • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
