Senior Product Development Coordinator 📍 Howell, NJ (Onsite) Company: Petit Clair About Petit Clair Petit Clair is a growing children’s fashion brand with a strong direct-to-consumer presence and a highly collaborative in-house creative team. With over 500 new styles developed each season, the company is focused on delivering high-quality, well-organized, and commercially successful collections on tight timelines. We work with a global network of freelance technical designers and are continuing to scale our product development operations to support growth across retail and ecommerce channels. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Product Development Coordinator to manage fabric selection, materials tracking, and development workflows across multiple seasonal collections. This role serves as a key operational link between in-house designers, freelance technical teams, and internal systems. The ideal candidate will take ownership of fabric management, PLM accuracy, approval workflows, and development tracking, ensuring that every style progresses efficiently from concept to production readiness. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role within a fast-paced, high-volume product development environment. Key Responsibilities Fabric & Materials Management • Coordinate fabric selection in collaboration with the design team, • Cut, prepare, label, and organize fabric swatches for all styles, • Maintain and manage physical fabric and materials libraries, • Track fabric usage and allocations across seasonal collections, • Ensure all fabrics are approved and properly documented prior to sampling PLM & Data Management • Enter, update, and maintain accurate fabric and materials data within the PLM system, • Ensure all style records are complete, current, and aligned with internal standards, • Track material approvals, revisions, and updates, • Maintain development reports, trackers, and dashboards Workflow & Development Coordination • Manage approval workflows with in-house designers, • Track progress of freelance technical designers and external partners, • Follow up on deliverables, timelines, and outstanding tasks, • Maintain clear development schedules and status updates, • Identify and escalate risks, delays, or bottlenecks Development Process Management • Ensure each style has approved fabrics, swatches, and supporting documentation, • Monitor seasonal timelines and key milestones, • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, • Support the scaling and optimization of product development operations Cross-Functional Communication • Serve as the operational liaison between design, technical, and production teams, • Communicate priorities, updates, and changes across departments, • Support leadership with reporting, tracking, and development insights Qualifications Required • 3–6+ years of experience in apparel product development, materials management, or a related field, • Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction, • Experience working with PLM systems, • Proven ability to manage high SKU volumes in fast-paced environments, • Strong organizational and project management skills, • High attention to detail and data accuracy, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Comfortable working in an in-office, collaborative environment Why Join Petit Clair • Growing fashion brand with a strong product pipeline, • Collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment, • Opportunity to play a key role in scaling product development operations Direct impact on seasonal collections and product execution
