Job Description The General Surgical Officer responsible for the preoperative, operative, and postoperative care of patients at DOS/DOD clinics. The General Surgical Officer will supervise and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. Basic Requirements/Certifications: • Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia., • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)., • 3+ years’ experience, 6 months OR RN experience within the past year, experience abroad or in austere environment preferred., • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
