This includes providing strategic advice to clients from model conceptualization through to building of the model and interpretation of the results. Senior Health Economists are central to the quality control of the project as well as training Health Economists through the provision of constructive feedback. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Partnering with Director, FP&A with ongoing refinement of overall financial targets across the Company and working with business unit operational finance teams to understand trends in all pacings and estimates, • Serving as a key FP&A contact for the BU finance team in Entertainment, Cable News, and Sports Production, overseeing P&L for those businesses, • Ideating with Director, FP&A in ensuring process for all planning cycles (budget, quarterly forecasts / close, long-range plans) is as efficient as possible, including establishing a single set of standard reports across all Finance teams, • Supporting financial analysis for all planning cycles – requiring in-depth understanding of business submissions, performing trend analysis, and identifying risks/opportunities, • Coordinate and actively participate in reviews with senior leaders, • Other Analysis & Ad Hoc Projects:, • Identify opportunities to create value-added financial analysis, • Participating in other ad hoc projectsQualifications Qualifications/Requirements: • Previous experience in the media and entertainment industry highly preferred, • Solid interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, • Comfort with a culture of adaptability with continuous refinement of roles and processes, • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, • Experience with SAP Accounting/Business Warehouse and BPC software a plus, • FP&A experience preferred Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with a VERSANT Media employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
