Job DescriptionPrimary Job Title: Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative IAlternate/Related Job Titles: • Certified Phlebotomy Technician, • Medical Laboratory Assistant, • Position Type: Contract, • Contract Duration: 3 months, • Start: As Soon As Possible, • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collections accurately and efficiently., • Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling in accordance with regulatory standards., • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment., • Demonstrate proficiency in pediatric and geriatric blood draws., • Deliver exceptional patient service, ensuring comfort and clarity during procedures., • Maintain complete and accurate records, logs, and documentation., • Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to daily productivity goals., • Support flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours., • Promote organizational excellence, teamwork, and compliance with company policies.Required Experience:, • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred., • Experience in a customer service role within healthcare, retail, or service environments preferred., • Keyboard/data entry experience required.Nice-to-Have Experience:, • Prior work in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment., • Medical assistant or paramedic training background.Required Skills:, • Phlebotomy and specimen collection, • Attention to detail and accuracy, • Patient communication and confidentialityPreferred Skills:, • Time management and multitasking, • Safety and compliance adherence, • Customer service in healthcare environmentsAdditional Skills:, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Flexibility to support multiple site needs or changing schedules, • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in patient interactionsEducation & Certification:, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Phlebotomy certification required in Nevada., • Must hold a State of Nevada Lab Assistant License., • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Working Conditions:, • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM., • Work Environment: Onsite, patient-facing diagnostic service center., • Not eligible for remote work.
