Competitive Compensation & Benefits • Hourly Rate: $30–$38 per hour ($62,400–$79,040 annually, based on a 40-hour workweek) *, • On-Call Pay: $150 for scheduled on-call duties, • 3&3 Tech Flex Program: Choose one of these exciting options:, • $3,500 cash bonus, • 40 additional hours of floating holidays, • $3,500 toward technical training, • Paid Time Off: 48 hours to start, increasing to 168 hours with tenure, • Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas) *Note: The original annual salary range ($62,400–$79,040) was inconsistent with the hourly rate. Your Role: Making an Impact As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you’ll provide top-notch service to the Hillsborough County School District, ensuring efficient HVAC systems that support student learning environments. Your key responsibilities include: • Performing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and equipment changeouts for commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and chiller systems, • Installing and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines with precision, • Diagnosing complex technical issues and recommending preventative maintenance, • Responding promptly to emergency service requests with professionalism, • Conducting facility condition assessments and contributing to strategic projects, • Working independently with support from dispatchers, coordinators, and supervisors What We’re Looking for Qualifications • Experience: 3–6 years of proven expertise in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and chiller systems, • Certifications: EPA Certification required, • Physical Requirements:, • Climb ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs., • Lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics), • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license screenings, • Compliance with enhanced security clearance protocols for school district assignments, • Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing HVAC systems and ice machines, • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and address urgent repairs, • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, • Local Impact, Global Reach: Contribute to creating optimal learning environments for Hillsborough County students while being part of a global network., • Career Growth: Access tailored training, certifications, and clear paths to advancement within our organization.
