Job Description Job Title: Engineering Technician Job Description The Engineering Technician plays a vital role within the Pharma Services business. This position is crucial for supporting operational and engineering teams by managing the maintenance of facilities, utilities, and process equipment throughout their lifecycle. The role is central to the Maintenance Engineering function, contributing to the achievement of business unit KPIs. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain various facility equipment such as Utility systems and HVAC systems on a routine basis., • Possess deep knowledge in the engineering and maintenance activities of pharmaceutical industry equipment, particularly in fill-finish and sterile fill-finish processes., • Perform operations on boilers, hot water generators, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems., • Provide technical expertise and advice on process equipment, including bag, vial, and PFS filling lines, formulation systems, and autoclaves., • Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize shutdown time., • Conduct inspections of areas, equipment, and items to ensure regulatory and quality compliance., • Perform preventive maintenance activities on all process and facility equipment., • Manage operation and maintenance of boilers, hot water generators, chillers, air compressors, AHU, PW generation and distribution, WFI storage and distribution, and pure steam generation and distribution., • Oversee electrical and mechanical system startups and commissioning, and coordinate with subcontractors and construction management., • Maintain accurate records for operations, including supply inventories, reports, mechanical equipment lists, purchase orders, warranties, parts lists, and other documentation related to preventive maintenance and repairs., • Engineering expertise and troubleshooting skills., • Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech maintenance activities., • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), • Strong critical thinking and proactive approach., • Ability to work effectively in team settings, both within own team and cross-functionally., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of in pharmaceutical maintenance.
