Job Description The Membership Sales Manager is responsible for driving qualified lead generation, conversion performance, and disciplined CRM execution for the club. This role works in close coordination with Marketing and Membership Programming to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality prospects while directing the Membership Representatives toward high-impact community engagement opportunities. The position combines hands-on sales leadership, pipeline management, and operational rigor to support membership growth targets and elevate the club’s member acquisition experience. This position will manage membership sales strategies, participate in member events/programming, and ensure exceptional service and value for members, combining leadership, sales, and operations to deliver an outstanding member experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead Generation & Pipeline Development • Develop and execute inside and outside sales strategies to drive membership growth and retention., • Perform membership tours and sales meetings, ensuring prospective members understand the full value proposition of The Aster., • Track membership metrics and analyze sales trends to inform business strategy and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals., • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Membership Programming to generate consistent, qualified lead volume., • Identifyand direct Membership Representatives toward community engagements, events, and partnerships that produce high-value prospects., • Maintain an active and forward-looking prospect pipeline aligned with monthly and quarterly goals., • Ensure all guests, social visitors, and programming participants are accurately entered into the CRMin a timely manner., • Maintain rigorous follow-up standards across the sales team to ensure prospects are actively and professionally pursued., • Audit CRM data integrity regularly and enforce usage standards., • Manage Membership Representatives’ schedules to ensure proper coverage throughout the week, including evenings and weekends., • Provide daily direction, coaching, and accountability to the membership sales team., • Set clear activity and conversion expectations andmonitorperformance against goals., • Maintainaccurate,timely, and well-organized sales statistics., • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly membership reports to senior leadership., • Analyze trends in tours, applications, conversions, and attrition., • Recommend tactical adjustments based on data insights., • Ensure the sales approach reflects the club’s luxury, community-forward positioning., • Partner with Programming and Operations to ensure seamless handoff fromprospectto newmember., • Participate in member events, training sessions, and special programming to foster community engagement and support member retention, • Budgets:Manage membershipbudgetrelating tomembership growth and resignations., • Employment:Leadership and oversight of direct reportsonly., • Payroll:Oversight of direct reports.Should be aware of payrollissues,status changes., • Teamwork;Work collectively to realize goals that are greater than what you can achieve individually., • Friendliness;create an authentic, welcoming environment for all patrons; and promptly report needed repairs, potential safety issues, significant cleaning jobs to housekeeping, cleaning, and/or engineering department., • Follow through with resolutions to problems from beginning to end; break away from your regular duties if needed to follow through on resolutions., • Be knowledgeable of Club information;maintainsufficient and updated information to be able to easily answer questions from members andguestthoroughly from beginning to end., • Practice personal hygiene: wear clean and pressed clothing, andproperuniform., • Use proper and welcoming telephone etiquette; do not screen calls, answer calls by the 3rdring, smile while you speak., • Reply to emails the same day you receive them., • Anticipate andcomply withmember needs and record their preferences., • Comply withthe Company Health and Safety (H&S) processes while working on projects, initiatives, and other work-related duties; perform job duties in a way that will not cause danger to self or others, or violate local, state, federal, environmental regulations., • Consistently evaluatework forefficiency, quality, alignment with the Company’s service standards, and compliance with Company policies and procedures., • Seek out opportunities to enhance personal skills set relevant to job tasks., • 5+ years of inside sales experience preferably in membership sales, hospitality sales, private club, or lifestyle sales experience., • Demonstrated success managing a sales pipeline and achieving conversion targets., • Strong CRM discipline and reporting capability., • Experience supervising or leading sales representatives., • Availability toworka flexible schedule including evenings and weekends asrequired., • Private club, boutique hotel, or wellness club experience preferred, • Experience with high-touch, relationship-based selling environments preferred, • Familiarity with luxury or soft-luxury brand positioning preferred, • Event-driven lead generation experience preferred, • Pipeline rigor and sales discipline, • Relationship-driven selling, • Team leadership and coaching, • Data accuracy and reporting precision, • Community engagement mindset, • Professional presence aligned with club-luxury standards
