About J&R Schugel In 1974, when Jerry and Rich Schugel started J&R Schugel Trucking with their father, Harold, they had 15 trucks, 20 trailers, and an idea. That idea was to provide their customers with quality service at a good price. The company experienced great success and growth throughout its control, boasting 350 power units and 550 refrigerated trailers in 1998.
