Seeking a Construction Manager (CM) to support the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure upgrade program at the Philadelphia VAMC. This is a full-time, onsite role providing professional construction management, quality assurance, and technical oversight for major healthcare facility renovation and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities • Perform daily field inspections of construction activities, documenting work performed, deficiencies, safety compliance, and progress toward schedule milestones., • Support the VA Resident Engineer (RE) and COR with construction administration, including change order documentation, submittal reviews, RFIs, and cost evaluation., • Monitor project financial data, including budget tracking, pay application verification, and forecasting., • Review project schedules, track progress, identify slippages, and recommend corrective actions., • Conduct and document weekly and bi-weekly progress meetings with contractors and stakeholders., • Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring adherence to specifications, VA design standards, and construction contract requirements., • Assist with testing and inspection coordination, commissioning activities, and verification of work completion., • Maintain accurate project records, daily logs, issue tracking, and close-out documentation in VA systems (e.g., TRIRIGA, PlanGrid or equivalent)., • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, inspection summaries, and project tracking updates for the COR and RE., • Participate in design reviews, value engineering discussions, feasibility assessments, and constructability evaluations., • Ensure contractor compliance with OSHA, Joint Commission, and VA safety requirements. Job Description OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: Skilled, Independent Contractor certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by the Penn Beck Community Initiative will provide trauma-informed therapy to underserved populations on-site at community-based mental health outpatient clinic. This includes diagnostic assessments and individual, group, and family therapy for a diverse caseload of adults ages 18+ experiencing a variety of behavioral health issues. The Independent Contractor will provide monthly group consultations to therapists who are in the process of being CBT certified by the Penn Beck Community Initiative. FUNCTIONS: • Provide weekly client-centered, trauma-informed, individual, group, and family therapy as per the specifications outlined in the contract., • Provide monthly group consultations to clinicians who are in the process of being CBT certified by the Penn Beck Community Initiative., • Complete and provide data to the Penn Beck Community Initiative as required., • With client consent, make concerted effort to engage identified support system in treatment., • Provide initial and ongoing assessment of presenting issues, diagnostic impressions, and recommended course of treatment., • Create treatment plan and routinely monitor progress in collaboration with client., • Manage own tax and financial affairs., • Coordinate care with other involved professionals to ensure continuity of care., • Enter intake and therapy appointments into EMR at least 48 hours in advance., • Maintain accurate records of performance metrics and time spent including minimum billing expectations commensurate with scheduled hours. This includes entering progress notes within 3 days of service, including supportive documentation (e.g., treatment plans, safety plans, case management notes, briefs, triage notes, discharge summaries, no show or cancellation notes)., • Encourage consistent attendance by routinely reviewing attendance policy and providing weekly reminder calls. Discharge inactive cases in a timely manner to promote access., • Refer for community resources including expanded mental health programming as needed., • Provide crisis intervention including safety planning as needed. This includes follow up and coordination of care when individuals go to the CRC or acute level of care., • Complete all mandatory training to maintain state, CBH, and NIAC credentialing. This includes obtaining EBP training or other training as requested and actively participating in appropriate EBP consultation group(s), that are held for one hour/month (if applicable)., • Communicate regularly with clinical supervisor to discuss current caseload, weekly productivity, and any relevant clinical or administrative questions or concerns to ensure the delivery of services accordingly., • Function in full compliance with all agency policies/procedures and federal, state, and local laws., • Participate in Interact’s Compliance Program, including reporting suspected violations of the compliance program or applicable laws or regulations to immediate supervisor or Deputy Director of Continuous Quality Improvement., • Maintain necessary clearances, continuing education, licenses, and certifications to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania., • Promote a safe work environment that embraces Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA)., • Other duties as assigned.
