Job Description Job Title: Grounds Crew Member Job Summary: The Grounds Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the property's outdoor areas. This role supports daily landscaping operations and general grounds maintenance to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Job Responsibilities: • Maintain Park grounds by removing trash, litter, and debris; empty trash receptacles as needed., • Pick up, bag, and properly dispose of garbage and debris throughout the property., • Load and unload delivery trucks and materials., • Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning walkways, assisting with fountain upkeep, and repairing outdoor fixtures., • Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation systems., • Trim trees, hedges, shrubs, and overgrown limbs; prevent and eliminate weeds., • Plant and maintain decorative bushes, flowers, plants, and shrubs in accordance with landscaping designs., • Apply fertilizers, mulch, insecticides, and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth and control pests or diseases., • Operate and maintain hand tools (loppers, saws, shovels) and power equipment safely and efficiently., • Operate trucks and other motorized equipment as required., • Assist with maintenance and minor repairs to landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways., • High school diploma or GED (preferred)., • Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance experience (preferred)., • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English., • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and sound judgment., • Basic computer literacy., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 miles per day)., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, and repetitive motion., • Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools., • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions., • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle., • Promote and practice safe work habits at all times., • Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)., • Comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
