We are currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Triage Assistant to join our weekend Emergency & ICU team, Saturday–Monday, 7 AM–7 PM. Location: 6393 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37421 Schedule: Full-Time | Saturday-Monday, 7 AM – 7 PM Department: Emergency & Critical Care What You’ll DoAs a Triage Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping our emergency and ICU teams manage incoming cases and provide compassionate, efficient care. • Triage and assess incoming emergency patients, • Gather patient histories, vitals, and presenting concerns, • Safely restrain animals during exams, procedures, and treatments, • Assist veterinarians and technicians with diagnostics, lab work, and medication administration, • Dispense medications under supervision, • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areas, • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and team members, • Provide comfort and support to patients during their stayWe’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Because we are a 24-hour facility, occasional nights and holidays may be required. Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseWe’re seeking a motivated, compassionate individual who loves working with animals and is eager to grow in emergency veterinary medicine.
