Job Description Job Title: 2nd Shift Cleanroom Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Cleanroom Technician to join our production line, specializing in assembling surgical one-time-use items, instruments, and kits for hospitals and healthcare product manufacturers. This position operates on the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime on weekdays or Saturdays. Responsibilities • Count, cut, measure, fold, or modify raw materials as per the Device Master Record, completing necessary inspections and documentation in compliance with QS and GMP policies., • Perform on-line inspections of each device as it is produced and report any issues to the Production Supervisor., • Seal products in their final packaging configurations, adhering to proper procedures and machine settings., • Prepare packaged work for sterilization, completing necessary documentation and control numbers per QS and GMP., • Maintain inventory control procedures, including product staging, segregation, and rotation., • Perform and document scheduled facility cleaning as per QS., • Understand and conform to proper Clean Room etiquette., • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor., • Communicate effectively with production, purchasing, quality, and management to accomplish assigned goals and objectives., • Experience in general production, packing, cleanroom, medical device, or medical assembly., • Strong attention to detail and motivation to work., • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., • Proven team leader capabilities., • Ability to operate basic production equipment., • Preferred 1 year experience in cleanroom, medical assembly, or warehouse. This position offers a contract to hire opportunity after four months with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Work Environment The role is based in a cleanroom environment within a new department of four employees. Employees must wear cleanroom gear, including scrubs, a white coat, gloves, a hair net, and no makeup or jewelry. The work environment predominantly speaks Spanish among tenured employees, but basic English is necessary for reading work orders and communicating with auditors or supervisors. Employees are allowed to drink water or use the restroom, provided they notify their lead to manage gowning and ungowning procedures. Set breaks occur after four hours of the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
