Job Description Property Manager A New York City-based residential property management firm is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a rent-stabilized, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) multi-family community. This is a full-time, in-person role, Monday through Friday, managing day-to-day operations from an on-site office. Company & Portfolio The firm's corporate office is on Manhattan's East Side and it manages a diverse portfolio of residential properties across all five boroughs, including affordable and market-rate rentals, co-ops, and condominiums. This position focuses specifically on a rent-stabilized LIHTC property, requiring deep familiarity with New York regulatory requirements and affordable housing compliance. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all aspects of daily property operations for a stabilized, income-restricted community. * Ensure full compliance with rent stabilization rules and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements, including certifications, recertifications, and documentation. * Supervise leasing, renewals, rent collection, and resident file management in accordance with program guidelines. * Use Yardi Voyager to manage resident data, ledgers, work orders, and reporting. * Coordinate building maintenance needs with site staff and vendors, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance. * Respond to resident inquiries and concerns professionally, maintaining strong tenant relations. * Prepare and review reports in MS Word and Excel, including occupancy, delinquency, compliance, and operational metrics. * Work closely with ownership/leadership to meet financial, operational, and compliance goals. Required Qualifications * Extensive rent stabilization experience (minimum of 4 years) within New York City multifamily housing. * Must have sales or brokers license in NJ * Current ARM or CPM designation (required). * Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) certification, with 1-3+ years of hands-on LIHTC compliance experience. * Proficiency with Yardi Voyager. * Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. * Valid driver's license. * Approximately 7+ years of property management experience strongly preferred, with a track record in multi-family residential. * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
