Role: Opportunity to join an exciting food company that is looking for a representative to carry out in-store sampling of our product. You will interact with customers and present our product to shoppers through handing out samples of our chip product. No prior experience needed and the role offers a level of independence and a part-time schedule! Who we're looking for: - 18 years + - Ability to stand for 3 to 4 hours when sampling in-store - Available for 3 to 4 shifts per week including one of those at the weekend - Previous experience in food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, or product demonstration is helpful but not required - Some locations may require bringing equipment to conduct the event - reliable transportation that allows transporting tables and other needed equipment - Presentable, enthusiastic and good with people What we offer: - Competitive wages of $20 per hour - Get paid quickly - Growth opportunities within the company as promotion openings arise - Commission options possible

About Us: AURELIA, known for our fresh gelato and sorbet in bold Asian flavors, serves up smiles at events across New York City. We are a team that values enthusiasm and commitment to quality service, and we're looking to expand our crew! Job Description: As an Ice Cream Server/Cashier, you will be the face of AURELIA at various events, providing top-notch customer service and serving our delicious gelato and sorbet. This role includes setting up and breaking down event spaces, operating cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards. - The events will be in various locations throughout NYC (Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens). - We have events every Saturday and Sunday, as well as other days on most weeks. Responsibilities: - Serve gelato and sorbet to event attendees. - Manage transactions and operate the cash register. - Assist in loading and unloading equipment from a van at event locations, with the help of other team members. All heavy equipment (over 50 lb) is on wheels and there is a ramp available for use. - Set up and break down the event booth. - Ensure the serving area remains clean and organized. Requirements: - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately. - Must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed. - Comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 5 hours). - Available to work weekends. - NYC Food Handlers License is preferred.
