Job Description Job Title: UH-60/S-70 Helicopter Mechanic Job Description As a UH-60/S-70 helicopter mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on the company fleet of rotary-wing aircraft operating under FAA Part 133 and 137. This role supports safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations across utility, firefighting, and agriculture activities. The company is responsible for millions of acres of private forest. Responsibilities • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance programs, and company procedures., • Conduct progressive, phase, isochronal, hourly, calendar, and special inspections., • Troubleshoot, repair, remove, install, rig, and function check aircraft systems and components., • Maintain engines, transmissions, rotor systems, drive systems, and mechanical flight controls., • Perform servicing, lubrication, corrosion control, and functional checks., • Accurately document all maintenance actions using electronic maintenance tracking systems., • Support aircraft recovery, AOG response, and field maintenance activities., • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Essential Skills • A&P license, • 2+ years of Blackhawk maintenance experience, • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals and technical data, • Must have basic field kit/hand tools Additional Skills & Qualifications • High School Diploma/GED (or higher), • Airframe and Powerplant license preferred, • Highly preferred: 15T UH-60 Utility Helicopter Repairer training (Army) Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes hangar and offices at McMinnville Airport, across the street from the Evergreen Air Museum. Most work involves day trips into the field, with a usual return to the facility the same day. There may be some instances of rotating into the field for up to 2 weeks at a time.
