The Clinical Director leads clinical service functions for their designated geographic location and supports the growth of the Company’s behavioral health service offerings. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s behavioral health service offerings and ensuring the delivery of exceptional ABA therapy to individuals with autism in clinic, community, and school settings. This role involves supervising clinical management under their purview, guiding a team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and state licensed clinicians, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs), shaping and ensuring high quality clinical practices within the organization. Responsibilities Strategic Growth • Collaborate with the leadership to develop and execute a strategic plan for expanding our client base and service offerings in the Virginia market., • Execute on goals and objectives that align with the company’s mission and vision for growth, providing regular updates and feedback on progress., • Build strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders., • Actively participate in business development activities, technology implementations in clinical environments, and grant research opportunities., • Collaborate with marketing personnel to expand awareness of services and oversee clinician-led community outreach efforts to promote awareness of our services. Clinical Leadership and Supervision • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to our team of Supervisors, BCBAs and Clinicians, and RBTs/BTs., • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality ABA services that adhere to ethical and professional standards., • Develop, implement, and provide oversight of comprehensive behavioral assessments and behavioral treatment plans., • Review, monitor, and evaluate treatment integrity of clinical team to ensure optimal implementation of treatment protocols., • Ensure supervision is conducted across the clinical department properly, and in accordance with state regulations and accrediting body best practices., • Conduct clinical supervision and mentoring for clinicians, providing feedback and ongoing professional development opportunities., • Perform program development and implementation of evidence-based clinical programs and interventions aligned with best practices in the field of ABA., • Implement quality control measures to monitor and improve the delivery of services. Address any issues related to compliance with regulatory standards., • Oversee comprehensive behavioral assessments and treatment plan development., • Implement quality control measures to monitor and improve the delivery of services., • Address any issues related to compliance with regulatory standards, course correcting and installing procedures for proactive measures to sustain proper regulatory requirements as requirements evolve or are clarified., • Stay current on the latest research and advancements in ABA and implement relevant innovations into practice., • Ensure clinical staff are meeting training requirements for board requirements as well as state licensing requirements. Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for clinical staff. Operational Efficiency • Manage to a clinical budget, managing resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization for the benefit of clients and staff., • Actively participate in regular clinical meetings, advising on clinical progress for key initiatives., • Responsible for maintaining current credentialing, licensing, certification, and other requirements for staff to deliver therapy in accordance with community standards, including, but not limited to, payor and government agency standards., • Implement and maintain standardized clinical protocols and data collection procedures., • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that values excellence, professionalism, and teamwork., • Provides recommendations to improve therapy workflow and therapist job satisfaction., • Oversee performance management and employee development for the clinical team., • Contribute to budget development and resource allocation for clinical operations., • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical requirements governing ABA services. Communication and Collaboration • Effectively communicate with clients, families, and all levels of clinical and administrative staff., • Engage caregivers and facilitate skill transfer in a manner most appropriate for the care of the client., • Supervises clinicians to lead client meetings effectively, ensuring parent guidance and training is delivered at a high quality to caregivers., • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including referral sources, funding agencies, and community partners., • Present on ABA topics and company initiatives at conferences and professional forums, as needed. Credentials and Billing • Maintain active board certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and acquire and maintain state licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania for corresponding ABA credential; acquire other state licenses acquired as needed for future geographic assignments, • No billable hours are required utilizing this credential., • Maintain active board certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and acquire and maintain state licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania for corresponding ABA credential. Supporting the re-authorization function as a prescriber, provide intermittent re-authorization services to clients on behalf of the Company for written orders needed for ABA client scripts utilizing this credential., • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain credentials.
