Job Description Role Overview Shift: 5pm -130 am Core Purpose Operate powered industrial trucks to keep food products moving—received, stored, and shipped—safely and accurately. Key Responsibilities • Load/unload trailers and reposition pallets throughout the warehouse with the correct equipment., • Stack and store inventory; pick and assemble customer orders; label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack per direction., • Verify freight against documentation; check for damage or infestation before product is stored or shipped., • Run sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts, high‑reach forklifts, stand‑up straddle trucks, walk‑behinds, and single/double pallet jacks using RF devices—in line with OSHA requirements., • Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe workspace., • Assist with inventory counts, housekeeping, and forklift battery changes; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, • High school diploma or GED preferred., • 3+ months of related warehouse or forklift experience preferred. Preferred Traits, • Works independently with minimal supervision., • Available for overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed; punctual and compliant with attendance policies., • Detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven. Physical Demands, • Frequent forklift driving; ability to sit, hear, talk, use close vision, handle objects, and operate controls; occasional distance vision, standing, kneeling, or crouching., • Operate within 55 inches of headroom in certain areas., • Tolerate temperature ranges from 32°ree;F to −45°ree;F indoors and variable outdoor conditions., • Comfort at heights up to 30 ft. using an internal safety cage., • Stand to rebuild pallets for up to 5 hours during an 8-10-12 hour shift; occasional walking, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling., • Lift 10–55 lbs. from floor to 80 inches and up to 70 lbs. to 50 inches for pallet rebuilds; carry product 6 ft. without assistance., • Wear cold‑protective apparel: boots, headgear, gloves., • Vision needed: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
