Job Description Senior Warehouse Associate Location: Atlanta, GA Starting Pay:$18.90 and up (based on experience), 1st shift Responsibilities • Serve as a liaison between warehouse associates and Supervisors to support daily execution, communication, and alignment on priorities, • Mentor and train new hires, providing hands-on coaching in standard work, quality expectations, and safe material-handling practices, • Assist with receiving, picking, staging, palletizing, replenishment, and other warehouse functions as needed to meet service and productivity goals, • Monitor workflow progress and task completion; help balance labor, identify constraints, and escalate risks to on-time performance, • Report performance concerns, safety issues, and process inefficiencies to leadership; support corrective actions and continuous improvement, • Troubleshoot and help resolve team issues including conflicts, performance gaps, and workflow bottlenecks; reinforce accountability and teamwork, • Promote and model safe work practices at all times, support safety observations, housekeeping, and incident prevention efforts, • Support accurate documentation of work (scans, location moves, staging status) in the WMS as required, • Participate in training and development programs as directed, • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience across multiple warehouse functions required, • Preferred: Prior leadership, mentorship, or training experience, • Skills:, • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, • Ability to coach, support, and motivate team members, • Solid understanding of warehouse processes and workflows, • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and support process improvements, • Certifications/Licenses: None required, • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with associates and supervisors to coordinate work, coach performance, and address safety and operational issues, • Ability to move/traverse throughout the warehouse to observe workflow, support associates, and assist with receiving/picking/staging activities, • Warehouse environment: work is primarily indoors but may sometimes work outdoors near docks or yard areas, • May be exposed to equipment and machinery; noise levels can be distracting or uncomfortable at times, • Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled and can be hot or cold depending on season and facility area, • Healthcare Access We may use an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) to assist with initial prescreening; we provide required advance notice and a published bias-audit summary here.
