Our direct client is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to manage their youth and young adult development programs. The LCSW will oversee participants in our programs including HHA and CNA certifications, focus on participants' mental health, well-being, self –management and other supportive services needs of participants through small groups and one-on-one sessions as needed. This full-time role requires flexibility in working mornings, evenings, and Saturdays at multiple sites, with hours, days, and locations varying based on seasonal changes. Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center (RCPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting a Licensed Master Social Worker to join their children and youth inpatient Social Work Team. This position is part-time, 20 hours a week. The work schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8-hour shifts, and one 4-hour evening shift, 3:30pm – 7:30pm, during the week. Job Description About the Role Hamilton-Madison House (HMH) is the leading provider of behavioral health services for New York City’s Asian community and the second largest provider in the country. HMH serves nearly 1,000 community members through a comprehensive program model that understands and incorporates the strengths of individual cultures and addresses the stigma related to mental illness. Services range from psychological services; personalized recovery-oriented services for individuals with mental illness; recovery programming for addiction in six languages and seven dialects; supportive housing for people with mental health issues; and training and internship opportunities for graduate students in social work, mental health counseling, and psychology. Our team of over 40 full-time and 16 part-time staff speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Cambodian. The Outreach & Community Health Worker works closely with the Clinical Coordinator to advance community-based initiatives that expand access to mental health care and support services for the community. Job Description THE ORGANIZATION The Center for Justice Innovation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing community safety and racial justice. With a team of over 900 staff and an annual budget of $130 million, the Center carries out its mission through three core strategies: • Operating Programs that pilot new ideas and address local challenges;, • Conducting original research to evaluate what works—and what doesn’t; and THE OPPORTUNITY The Brooklyn Mental Health Court (BMHC) launched in 2002 as NYC’s first mental health court, serving individuals charged primarily with felony offenses who are living with serious mental illness. The program diverts participants from jail or prison by conducting clinical assessments and then connecting them with long-term treatment in the community, along with rigorous judicial monitoring. The court aims to strengthen the justice system’s ability to identify, assess, and monitor individual participants, to create linkages between the justice and mental health systems, and to improve public safety by ensuring that participants receive high quality community-based services. The Brooklyn Felony ATI Program utilizes a similar model to Brooklyn Mental Health Court, serving individuals facing felony charges who are not otherwise eligible for Mental Health Court or other treatment courts in Brooklyn. The program receives referrals through two pathways: (1) the dedicated Felony ATI court part within Brooklyn Supreme Court, with a dedicated judge and supervising prosecutor; and (2) through other court parts throughout Brooklyn Criminal and Supreme Court. Regardless of the referral pathway, all participants receive individualized assessments, onsite and community-based services, compliance monitoring and judicial monitoring for the life of the case. BMHC is seeking a Social Worker for its Brooklyn Felony Diversion programs. The Social Worker will serve individuals who are mandated to Felony Alternative to Incarceration (Felony ATI) programming through the Brooklyn Supreme Court. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide all necessary Casework services (Assessment, Level 1 and Level 2 counseling) as deemed appropriate for clients., • Complete all necessary Casework paperwork in a timely fashion, computer work, telephone calls, outside paperwork and referrals, Informed system work, etc., as required by all VR clients., • Provide outreach services as necessary to advocate for clients., • Schedule and maintain client appointments., • Coordinate client services with NYSCB staff, outside social service agencies and other HKSB instructors., • Assist in achieving department contract goals., • Facilitate social work support groups., • Excellent attention to detail regarding progress notes and report submission., • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clinical Supervision is provided Responsible for other duties as may be assigned or requested by the Clinical Program Director of Social Work Services. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Master’s Degree in Social Work required., • Experience in working with adults and children with disabilities preferred.
